About the Zine

That's A Wrap! is a fan anthology for the game Persona 5 Royal. That's A Wrap! sets out to explore and celebrate food in the game.Whether it's the food itself or a character's relationship to it, That's A Wrap! is focused on it. This zine will focus on how food is used in the game to deepen the story and the characters, and is, fundamentally, a fun excuse to talk about symbolism and recipes. This zine will not be spoiler-free, as we plan to cover a number of different aspects of the game through the lens of food. That's A Wrap! is a free digital zine, and thus no money will be handled in the creation and distribution of this project.Check our schedule for our dates!

Zine FAQ

What is a zine?
A zine, in this context, is an unofficial project by fan creators, centered around a particular theme. The theme can be a piece of media, a character, a ship, a type of AU—practically anything you can imagine!
Will this zine have spoilers?
Yes. That's A Wrap! is not a spoiler-free project, so be prepared for that going in. There will be spoilers for the entirety of Persona 5 Royal.
Will this zine be SFW?
That's A Wrap! will be a completely SFW project.
Will this zine have any physical components?
That's A Wrap! is a completely digital zine. There will be no physical components, but you're free to print it out for your own use!
How canon-compliant will this zine be?
For the most part, this zine will be canon-compliant. We won't be dealing with any particularly major AUs, though pre- and post-canon exploration is a possibility.
Will this zine contain recipes?
That's A Wrap! will include recipes submitted by its contributors during the creation period.
How old do you have to be to apply?
We ask that all applicants are 16 years or older, due to the subject matter of Persona 5 Royal.
Can I apply for multiple contributor roles?
Yes! You can apply for as many contributor roles as you want. Just know that if you are selected, you will only be selected for one of those roles, so take that into consideration when applying.
If I apply as a moderator, will I still be able to create something for the zine?
Yes. Since we are a fully-digital zine, we aren't constrained by printer limits, so all moderators will be able to create a piece if they want to without impacting contributor applications.
What do each of the roles entail?
Page Artist: You will be expected to create a single piece of visual art for one page of the zine.
Comic Artist: You will be expected to create a single, short comic for the zine, usually covering multiple pages.
Merch Artist: You will be expected to create digital merch for the zine, such as wallpapers, Discord emotes, or stickers, as a few examples.
Writer: You will be expected to write a short piece for the zine.
Miscellaneous: Depending on what you pitch, you will be expected to create a piece in your chosen medium, the scale of which will be decided on a case-by-case basis.
How will contributor applications be evaluated?
We will be reviewing contributor application submissions anonymously. When applications open, there will be instructions for how to submit your work so that we may compile everyone's work in such a way that selection will be fair and unbiased. Each person's work will be reviewed blindly and selected based on merit.
How can I reach out to ask a question that wasn't covered here?
On the main page, there are links to our tumblr blog and to send us an email. Either one works! We will try to answer in a timely manner.
